Is having a tempature of 95.7 F right when you wake up ok?

I heard that body tempature decreases when you are sleeping but, is that too much? I have been sick a few days ago but I think mostly over it even yesterday I think I was over it. I did run a fever when I was sick. (100.7F nothing really) I woke up, and my mom ask me if I had a fever and I checked it right then. Thermometer was right beside me in bed. First time I took it it was 95.7 F then I checked it a few mins later.96.5F then a few mins after that it was still 96.5F. I believe I was also having a cold sweat that morning? I got up ate lunch checked it and it was 98.6 F. Is the tempature when I woke up too low? And I plan to check it in the morning later on to see if it matches up.

edit: other info age: 18, 125lbs ish

Sorry, Catch 22 reference. He was a doctor in a novel that was always worried that his temperature was too low.

Was not being helpful, just trying to be clever.

A low temperature may indicate things like thyroid issues. I have a low temperature and no thyroid issues. My basal temperature is approx. 95 degrees.

If you are sleeping with a lot of fans on (especially if its blowing directly on you) you could have gotten chilled in your sleep. Other than that I'm not sure.

You checked it a few minutes later and it was 96.5. You're fine.
