Skin Rash - should I be worried?

I am a 22 year old female and about a week ago I noticed this "rash", it is on the back of my arm just above the crease of the armpit, so an overall sensitive area. I am unsure of the length it was been there. I initially thought it was ring worm, but I'm not a doctor. its pink/red and scaly and momentarily itchy. I have never had something like this before. I had a GP up until last month as he passed away & cant get a meet & greet with a new doctor until May. I will go to a walk in if you think its necessary. thanks in advance.

It does look like ring worm, and your description of it itching and scaling is also a good indicator. You can go to a pharmacy and pic up some over the counter ointment for ringworm. An important thing to remember is that ringworm can take a while to get rid of so be sure to use the medicine for at least two weeks.

If you want to get rid of it quickly try this: Put the Selsun blue on the rash before getting onto the shower. Let it dry a little bit the take a normal shower. After showering I suggest using a cream like lamisil or tinactin, etc for all day. I'm not sure the selsun blue will be enough on its own.
