Lump in ear lobes.

Back when I had insurance 5 years ago, I went to the doctor about a lump in my ear.

It looks and feels like a pimple deep under the skin.

He lanced it, and it tested positive for staph so I got a prescription for sulpha meth.

It might just be a coincidence, but the stupid lump is back, and now I've got two of them.

There's a tiny little one in my right ear, and the one in the left is pea sized.

My left ear hurts a little bit, I guess, because of how it's stretching my skin.

What can I do about it at home?

If you can pop it in a sterile fashion, go ahead. It will hurt like a bitch. It probably just needs to drain, get some bacitracin on it, and it will heal. However, if they keep coming back, they will have to do a cyst surgery.

Do you have piercings?

I've never had any piercings, but one thing that I do that's odd is I fold my earlobe under itself and I roll the two layers of skin between my fingers. A physiologist from my childhood called it a motor tic, but I personally think it's something called stimming since the way it feels soothes anxiety. I'll catch myself doing it, for example, during rush hour traffic on the interstate.

[Right ear](http://i.imgur.com/eFOnheb.jpg). You can't see anything in this one. The fluid filled spot one this side is BB sized and can only feel it inside the earlobe, but you can see the damage 20 years of ear squishing does to a person!

Sounds like you are developing small abscesses. Its possible that the irritation from rolling your ears played a role in this. My suggestion would be to see a doctor to have it evaluated and be prescribed antibiotics. I wouldn't try to take this n at home and risk making it worse.
