Medical Menopause - I am terrified.

I have an extreme case of endometriosis, and have been told my only option is surgical removal(for the second time in less than a year) and then medical menopause. I am absolutely terrified. I would really like to have children at some point, but I keep getting told its not likely. Any advise?

You can see a reproductive specialist to see if there is any hope in freezing eggs for maybe a surrogate. You're also entitled to second or third opinions from other gyns. It's hard to accept, but you should really rely on doctors who know best at this point. There is nothing that an online community can say that can override what a doctor says who actually has examined you.

I am looking for people/doctors/nurses who have dealt with this, who can give me some hope about being in medical menopause in my late 20s, and what will happen when I come out of it.

I'm confused if you mean that they are choosing to do a hysterectomy which will induce the menopause, or something else.
